Convergence Station – Meow Wolf Denver

Convergence Station is the second Meow Wolf destination I’ve seen (the first being Omega Mart). It’s Meow Wolf’s third installation located in lovely Denver, Colorado. Enjoy these photos and next time you’re in the area, you should check it out!

When I first entered the building, I was a little taken aback by how normal it was. It was hard for me to tell if it was intentional and part of the experience or not, which was very different from Omega Mart. It looked like any other event building in Denver, really. Food court to one side, gift shop to the other, and elevators. Pretty sure the last Halloween party I went to was basically set up the same way. Maybe it was intentional to show you the contrast between entering and being inside, but I don’t think it fully connected.

We headed to the TRAM which took us to C street. It had a very 80’s movie kind of vibe to it, which was really fun. There was a pizza parlor and a salon.

In various rooms, there were also phones you could dial to other rooms. Our first attempt at dialing out was unsuccessful, but then the phone rang. In true millennial fashion, I panicked and yelled at my friend to answer the phone. Later, I tried to order a directive in the surveillance room but they hung up instead. Lame.

I also met my new favorite cryptid AND GOT TO SEE IT! The yawlp literally ran away as I was about to try to get a picture with it. Typical. Needless to say, I’m obsessed!

Of course, lore and convergence aside, the art was pretty freaking cool.

Have you been to any of the Meow Wolf exhibits? Which was your favorite? Any special secrets you love (Convergence Station or elsewhere)?
