LuLu’s Pop-up Boutique Sale

Last weekend we had a sale to raise funds for travel and van build expenses. This is something I absolutely loved planning and doing. My other passions fall heavily in the creating-things-and-selling-them category, as well as fun photo opportunities. A pop-up boutique sale allowed me both!

items for sale inside and around van

Our sale was set up as a pop-up style boutique sale, so we had clothes like a yard sale but also hand made items. There were LuLu stickers for sale, too. For a small donation, I would take polaroid style photos of people with LuLu. I had a small assortment of props for people to use and I was so excited to have some fun!

The sale itself was pretty slow (unfortunately). I did make enough money to buy the insulation for the floor along with the plywood for the underlayment of the floor, though. I probably also have enough for tape, silicone caulk, and edging. I’ll take that as a win.

I don’t know if this is something I’ll be able to do again in the future, but I had fun and I raised some funds to help with van build costs. With offers I’ve received from a couple people to set up outside their businesses, it could definitely be fun to do it again! I want to give a special thanks to everyone who came and hung out with us. Thanks to anyone who contributed items to sell, and of course anyone who bought anything or made a donation! You rock!
